The National Police Decides To Postpone Implementation Of The National E-TLE Until March 23, This Is The Reason

JAKARTA - The National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas) has postponed for a week the implementation of the national electronic ticket or e-TLE which is planned to take place on March 17. The reason is that there are still additional Polda that will implement e-TLE.

"(Withdrawed) on 23 (March) yes," said the Traffic Police Head of Police Inspector General Istiono to reporters, Tuesday, March 9.

In the initial plan, the implementation of e-TLE would be carried out in the jurisdiction of 10 Polda. But as time went on, two Polda decided to participate in implementing electronic ticketing.

For that reason it was decided to postpone. So, it is hoped that it can maximize its application. "There are additions, from 10 to 12 Polda. Banten and North Sulawesi," he said.

For information, the implementation of e-TLE is planned at Polda Metro Jaya, Polda West Java, Polda Central Java, Polda East Java, Polda DIY, Polda Riau, Polda Jambi, Polda West Sumatra, Polda Lampung, and Polda South Sulawesi.

The application of this electronic ticket was carried out in accordance with the order of the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit, to stop face-to-face prosecution in traffic.
