Mother Restricts Her Child To Become A Prostitute, Revealed In The Kediri Murder Case

JAKARTA - A mother from Bandung, West Java has blessed her biological daughter who is still underage to become a commercial sex worker (CSW) via online in Kediri.

"Parents and pimps understand that their children do that," said Head of the Detective and Criminal Unit of the Kediri City Police, AKP Verawaty Thaib, during a case title at the Kediri City Police Headquarters, reported by Antara, Tuesday, March 9.

The case of the practice of prostitution involving minors in Kediri was revealed to have started with the murder of M (16), a resident of Bandung, West Java.

The victim was found murdered on Sunday, February 28 at around 16.15 WIB in a hotel room in the city of Kediri. The hotel manager reported the discovery of a bloodied body in the hotel room.

In the mode, said AKP Verawaty Thaib, the perpetrator offered a massage which ended with immoral services. The perpetrators also moved to a number of cities in East Java.

Within a day, they target that they must get customers, then the money from these services is for their daily needs, including for lodging and meals.

In their operations, they take advantage of services, namely the MiChat friendship application. However, when the case occurred, the perpetrator deleted the evidence from the application so that the police needed time to do the tracking.

N admitted that he was forced to pursue this business because he was in debt. There are arrears in rented money of around Rp. 4 million. "I have a debt. When it's paid off, we'll go home. In addition, we also send money to buy children's milk," said N.

From the arrests of the three people, the police secured a number of evidences in the form of cash amounting to Rp2.4 million, cell phones, as well as account transaction books and a number of other evidences.

The perpetrators will be charged under the Child Protection Law with a minimum imprisonment of 5 years and a maximum of 15 years in prison.
