A total of 1,532 personnel under operational control (BKO) from Korlantas Polri were dispatched to Bali to assist security, flow escort and parking (pamwalrolakir) on the 10th World Water Forum agenda, on 18-25 May 2024.
Director of Law Enforcement (Dirgakkum) Korlantas Polri Brigadier General Pol. Raden Slamet Santoso said the BKO Korlantas team at the National Police Headquarters was dispatched in three stages.
"The first stage is May 11 through the air (airplane), the second stage is May 13 by land (bus) and the third stage is on the 14th by air," Slamet said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, May 11.
Korlantas Polri is part of the Operation Puri Agung 2024 which was held by the National Police to secure the international agenda of the 10th World Water Forum.
The Puri Agung 2024 operation lasted for 10 days from 17-26 May, Korlantas Polri joined the Pamwalrolakir task force.
Slamet, who is also the Head of the Pamwalrolakir Task Force, explained that the 1,532 BKO personnel were from Korlantas and joint personnel from 10 traffic directorates (Ditlantas) of the Regional Police or known as the Ditlantas Nusantara.
Then, coupled with 906 Bali Police personnel, bringing the total number of Pamwalrolakir personnel to 2,438 people.
