JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, revealed that the corruption case of land acquisition in DKI Jakarta has been going on for a long time. The DKI Provincial Government has also known that this practice is being carried out for a long time.

"Indeed, we have known about the land (corruption) case in DKI Jakarta for a long time," said Deputy Governor Riza on Monday, March 8 evening.

However, Riza admits solving land corruption is not an easy job. According to Riza, the land problem in Jakarta is a complex problem.

"This is not an easy job. We know, in previous years in Jakarta there were many cases," he said.

The DKI Provincial Government, said Riza, is trying its best and being careful in resolving this land mafia. DKI asked for support from related agencies, such as the National Land Agency (BPN) and law enforcement officials to both scrutinize and examine the land purchase process.

"We ourselves buy land with conditions, at least the requirements must be a certificate. In addition to other requirements we check with the notary, BPN, check with others. If there is a problem then, here we will see who deliberately changed the data, manipulated the certificate. , duplicating, and so on, "he explained.

Previously reported, the KPK confirmed that it was conducting an investigation into the alleged corruption case of land purchase for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's DP 0 Rupiah Program by DKI Jakarta BUMDs.

"It is true, after two sufficient preliminary evidences were found, the KPK is currently carrying out investigations into alleged TPK related to land acquisition in Munjul, Pondok Rangon Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta City, DKI Jakarta Province in 2019," said Acting KPK spokesman Ali.
