Supreme Court Rejects Lawsuit Related To Reclamation Of Island I Jakarta That Anies Revoked

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Supreme Court (MA) rejected the claim of the defendant PT Jaladri Kartika Pakci regarding the Island I reclamation permit which was revoked by DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan.

"Kabul PK, canceled PT judex facti, adjudicate again. Reject the lawsuit," said the Supreme Court's ruling on the institution's official website quoted in Jakarta, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, March 9.

The dispute is registered in the Supreme Court with number 32 PK / TUN / 2021 with court case number 113 / G / 2019 / PTUN.JKT.

Still through the official website of the Supreme Court, the type of case is recorded as state administration (TUN) and classification related to licensing.

The head of the panel of judges, Supandi, and two other judges, Sudaryono and Hary Djatmiko, and the substitute clerk of the clerk Teguh Satya Bhakti, rebutted the decision.

This PK application was filed by PT Jaladri Kartika Pakci regarding the Decree of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan which revoked the reclamation permit of Island I in Jakarta Bay.

The Jakarta governor revoked the permit to carry out the Island I reclamation in 2015, so PT Jaladri filed a lawsuit at the Jakarta State Administrative Court (PTUN).

The Jakarta PTUN granted PT Jaladri's request, so the Governor of DKI filed an appeal to the Jakarta High State Administrative Court (PT TUN) and the decision strengthened the Jakarta PTUN.

With this decision, Governor Anies immediately submitted a PK, without filing an appeal first, and the result was that the Supreme Court granted it so that the decision to revoke the reclamation of Island I was valid.
