JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Zita Anjani, is being criticized by netizens for uploading a photo of holding a coffee cup with Starbucks logo with the place of the Kaaba, Makkah, on her personal Instagram account.

Netizens are busy surging at Zita in the comments column for the photo upload. They consider the daughter of PAN General Chair Zulkifli Hasan to support pro-Israel products in the midst of the Palestinian conflict.

Zita was ignorant of responding to netizen attacks. In fact, Zita counterattacked by reminding netizens that it was not only him who consumed products that were considered to support Israel.

"Do you realize that there are still a lot of items around us from brands that are still supporting Israel? Even the things that we often use, such as cellphones, soaps, clothes, or social media that you often use every day, which party actually supports? So don't bear it if you want to support Palestine," said Zita in her Instagram account, quoted Thursday, April 25.

Zita views that there are still many people who use pro-Israel products, when people in Indonesia echo the boycott movement of these products.

"Try checking at home, are there still items that you should shout "boycott" too? Even though in Islam itself it is clear, which ones are haram and halal are consumed," he said.

No matter what the criticism, Zita then challenged netizens not to use products that were considered pro-Israel and replaced them with local product consumption.

"It's a boycott of one brand because joining in doesn't make you all the coolest, try therapy to your daily lives," he said
