Report Albertina Ho To Dewas, Nurul Ghufron Is Considered To Humiliate The KPK

JAKARTA - Former investigator of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Yudi Purnomo considers KPK Deputy Chair Nurul Ghufron to have humiliated the institution for reporting Albertina Ho who is a member of the supervisory board to the KPK Supervisory Board.

It is known, Nurul Ghufron reported the alleged abuse of authority by Albertina Ho because he coordinated with the Center for Financial Transactions Services and Analysis (PPATK) to ask for an analysis of odd accounts. He accused the KPK Supervisory Board of not having the right to do it because it was not law enforcement officials.

"I regret the reporting from Nurul Ghufron who is the Deputy Chair of the KPK to Albertina Ho as a member of the KPK Supervisory Board. According to him, this is a shame because Aho is carrying out his duties representing the KPK Council," Yudi told reporters in a written statement quoted on Thursday, April 25.

Albertina said Yudi was carrying out his duties to investigate the ethical violations committed by the prosecutor at the IT anti-corruption commission for extorting witnesses of up to IDR 3 billion. Thus, the coordination he did should not be a problem.

Moreover, Albertina's efforts were referred to as an effort to make the case clear. PPATK also provides an analysis result which means it is not disturbed by the steps taken.

"So what is the problem with Nurul Ghufron so he reports Aho," he said.

Yudi actually accused Ghufron of reporting back. "Maybe later there will be an assumption that this report is only to divert issues related to the examination of Nurul Ghufron by the KPK Council regarding the Ministry of Agriculture," he said.

"Ghufron as the KPK leader should be introspective. It is better to excel and eradicate corruption than to make noise with controversial things," concluded the former chairman of the KPK Employee Forum.
