AHY Invites Cadres And People To Succeed In The Prabowo-Gibran Program

Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) invited his cadres and the people to work together to make the Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka government programs a success.

He asked parties who were dissatisfied with the results of the 2024 presidential election dispute decision to be relieved. According to him, dissatisfaction can sacrifice the interests of the people.

AHY said the election competition had been completed, then reconciliation steps would be taken.

"If there are parties who are still not satisfied and willing with the Constitutional Court's decision. We urge not to sacrifice the interests of the greater people, the people want their country to be peaceful, harmonious, united, fair, advanced and prosperous," said Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono at the DPP Democrat, Central Jakarta, Wednesday 24 April.

He is of the view that the disappointment of the losing parties can disappoint the expectations of the majority of the people who have made their leader's choice. AHY emphasized that the interests of the people must be prioritized.

"Let's put the interests of the people above the interests of the group to the administrators of the Democratic Party cadres and sympathizers wherever you are," AHY asked.

In addition, AHY appreciated the cadres of the Democratic Party in the 2024 election. He did not expect the Democrats to join the government earlier.

"I feel the joy of the Democratic Party cadres and joy accompanied by gratitude to Allah SWT for the return of the Democratic Party to the current national government even 8 months earlier than we previously imagined," said AHY.
