Anies-Imin And Ganjar Mahfud Attend The Court's Decision Session, Prabowo-Gibran Absen

JAKARTA - Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD were present at the Constitutional Court hearing with the agenda of reading the decision on the dispute over the results of the 2024 presidential election.

Ganjar and Mahfud arrived first at the Constitutional Court building at 08.08 WIB. Wearing a suit, both of them arrived simultaneously in one vehicle. Ganjar had time to make a statement before entering the courtroom

Ganjar put his trust in the Constitutional Court judges to give a decision objectively and with integrity.

"The rest, we must give trust to the panel of judges because the panel of judges has the independence to decide. I pray that all of them are strong to give the most objective decisions for the nation and state," said Ganjar at the Constitutional Court building, Monday, April 22.

Before long, Anies and Muhaimin were present at the Constitutional Court building at 08.18 WIB with the same vehicle. Previously, Anies and Muhaimin took the time to gather at the AMIN National Team Winning Headquarters on Jalan Diponegoro, Central Jakarta.

Anies gave a similar response to Ganjar when responding to today's trial. Anies hopes that the Constitutional Court can still protect the democratic system from the verdict that will be read out.

"We respect it. We don't know yet and we don't want to speculate. But we hope that the Constitutional Court will take a role to save our democracy, keep our democratic quality maintained," said Anies.

Meanwhile, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka were confirmed not to attend today's verdict reading. This was conveyed by a member of the Prabowo-Gibran legal team, Otto Hasibuan.

"The information is that Pak Prabowo and Gibran did not come. But others, party officials are present," explained Otto.

The panel of judges at the Constitutional Court (MK) is scheduled to read out the decision of the 2024 presidential election dispute trial at the trial which will be held starting at 09.00 WIB.

Even though on one trial agenda, the verdict was read out separately according to the case registration number, namely the presidential and vice-presidential candidate pair number 1 Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, then presidential and vice-presidential candidates number 3 Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD.

In the petitum of his petition, both Anies-Muhaimin and Ganjar-Mahfud asked the Constitutional Court to cancel the results of the 2024 presidential election and ordered the KPU to re-vote without including Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Then, Anies-Muhaimin has an alternative petition petitum, namely to disqualify Gibran as a vice presidential candidate during the re-voting, so Prabowo must look for another vice presidential candidate.
