JAKARTA - The Palestinian Red Crescent Group (PRCS) on Monday announced that Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis City in the Gaza Strip is back in operation although only partially.

In a brief statement, PRCS explained that activities at Al-Amal Hospital were limited to receptions and emergency units, while other parts were unlikely to operate due to damage to Israeli military attacks against these health facilities.

PRCS announced that Al-Amal Hospital could no longer be used and could not operate at all after Israeli occupation forces forced hospital staff and injured victims to be evacuated from the facility.

Israeli troops also closed the hospital entrance using a barrier wall from the ground on March 26.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, as many as 12 hospitals in the Gaza Strip currently only operate in part, six hospitals in the northern region and the rest in the southern region.
