Increasing Pancasila Ideology, West Aceh Regency Government Allocates IDR 15 Billion For Traditional Islamic Boarding Schools

JAKARTA - The West Aceh Regency Government in 2021 has budgeted IDR 15 billion to assist the construction and development of traditional Islamic boarding schools (Dayah) in that area.

"The IDR 15 billion allocation of funds is aimed at increasing human resource development in the religious field, for the sake of creating a young generation with a patriot spirit", said West Aceh Regent Ramli MS in Meulaboh as reported by Antara, Thursday, March 3.

He conveyed this statement while attending the Development Plan Deliberation (Musrenbang) in Arongan Lambalek District, West Aceh. He also hopes that with the development of education in Islamic boarding schools, it will be easier to fortify the younger generation from foreign influences.

"As well as being able to improve the understanding of the Pancasila ideology for children in Aceh", he said.

According to Ramli, the allocation of funds worth IDR 15 billion in the 2021 District Budget (APBK) is an effort by the regional government to improve the quality of education in the religious sector.

Also, with this fund, it is hoped that the development of Islamic religious knowledge for the younger generation in Aceh will be more developed, in order to increase the love of the younger generation for the country.

"So it is necessary to allocate a large amount of funds, so that education in traditional Islamic boarding schools in Aceh will be more developed and advanced", he added.

In addition, the local government is also trying to improve the welfare of teachers in traditional Islamic boarding schools, by providing assistance so that the enthusiasm of teachers in educating the younger generation will be more enthusiastic and qualified, said Ramli MS emphasized.
