Crowded, 54 Thousand People Visit Tanah Abang Market Block B Ahead Of Eid

JAKARTA - Perumda Pasar Jaya noted that 54 thousand people visited Tanah Abang Market Block B as a form of enthusiasm ahead of Eid al-Fitr.

"On Sunday, March 31, 54,827 visitors entered Tanah Abang Market," said Perumda Pasar Jaya Public Relations Manager Agus Lamun as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, April 1.

Agus said the total visit ranged from 06.00 to 16.00 WIB.

The details are 11,198 at 09.00 WIB, 16,388 at 11.00 WIB, 15,218 at 13.00 WIB, and 12,023 at 16.00 WIB.

He stated that visitors on Sunday, March 31, were the highest number in 2024.

"That's right, until March 2024, the highest visitors will be on March 31," he added.

Compared to Saturday (30/3) yesterday, the number of visitors to Tanah Abang Market Block B is increasing, the total number of visitors is 46,298 people.

The details are 10,200 at 09.00 WIB, 14,631 at 11.00 WIB, 11.215 at 13.00 WIB, and 10.252 at 16.00 WIB.

Regarding the increase in the number of visitors compared to last year, his party is still collecting data.

"The last year is still being sought, which is clearly more crowded this year," he explained.

Previously, the Pasar Jaya Regional Public Company (Perumda) was determined to continue to rebuild and revitalize the market in 2024 in order to improve the services and facilities and infrastructure of shopping centers in Jakarta.

The target has been carried out in February 2024 by inaugurating two markets, namely Jaturawasari Market, Central Jakarta and Cilincing Market, North Jakarta.

Then, at the end of May, his party will also carry out further inauguration at Kalideres Market, Sumur Batu Market, and Heksagon Market.
