BPBD: 3,756 Demak Residents Refuge To Kudus Impact Of Flood Impact

The number of residents of Demak Regency, Central Java (Central Java), who were displaced due to flooding due to the breakdown of the left embankment of the Wulan River in Karangayar District, has now reached 3,756 people.

He revealed that refugee data did tend to increase because on Thursday, March 21, only 2,631 people were recorded, then increased to 3,756 people.

With the data collection, he said, the daily food needs of the refugees will also be met by the available public kitchens.

The refugee camps provided to accommodate Demak residents are the Kudus DPRD Building, Graha Mustika Jati, NU Loram Kulon Muslimat Building, Jam'iyyatul Hujjaj Kudus Building (JHK), Saerah Market, residents' houses in Undaan Lor Village, Loram Kulon, Loram Wetan, Pasuruhan Lor, and Jati Kulon.

To meet the needs of eating and drinking, the refugees in a number of places, he continued, were filled with public kitchens available at the DPRD Building, Kudus PMI, Kudus JHK, Graha Mustika, Saerah Market, Loram Kulon Muslimat Building, as well as Balai Desa Gulang and Jati Kulon.

As for health workers, his party deployed medical officers from Kudus Regency and Demak Regency so that refugees who needed health checks could be handled immediately.
