Son Of The Former Chairman Of The Democrat Party 'Crossed' To NasDem: There Is No Term New Person

JAKARTA - The son of 2005-2010 Democratic Party Chairman Hadi Utomo, Nurcahyo Anggoro Jati moved to the NasDem Party. The reason is that the party led by Surya Paloh found something different from the party bearing the mercy symbol.

Then, he was attracted to the Nasdem Party from his younger brother, Ade Dwi Astuti, who is currently a member of the DPR RI Electoral District of East Java, since 2020.

"We feel that we are acquainted with all of our brothers. There is equality in the Nasdem Party. There is no term new people, old people, we are all equal," said Nurcahyo as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, March 2.

Nurcahyo said that he and his younger siblings also saw the Nasdem Party, a party that had a big vision for the future, was serious about bringing this country forward economically, so that it was legally fair and equitable.

"There is a restoration that makes us very attractive. Like a political concept without dowry. In the Nasdem Party, we see a really serious party that frees candidates to raise the party. Therefore I want to emphasize that Nasdem is not the first party, but I can assure you this. the last party for me, "he said.

Today, Nurcahyo Anggoro is appointed as Chairman of the East Jakarta Nasdem DPD. He emphasized that his move to Nasdem was not related to the issue of the Democratic Party coup, even though he was the son of the former Democratic Party chairman, the late Hadi Utomo.

"I emphasize that this is not related to the coup of other parties (Democrats). We will exit in 2020, long before there was a coup issue in other parties. We entered in October 2020 and were given authority in East Jakarta," said Nurcahyo.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the DPW DKI Nasdem Party, Hasan Aminuddin, who gave the mandate to Nurcahyo as the Head of the East Jakarta Nasdem Party DPD admitted that he was happy that his party was strengthened by Nurcahyo and Ade and hoped that he could work optimally.

"We were approached by a politician who would serve in the Nasdem Party, Mas Nurcahyo. Mas Yoyok immediately gave me the mandate as Chairman of the East Jakarta Nasdem DPD. Hopefully it can have a big effect," Hasan said.
