DLU Sampit Says 80 Percent Of Lebaran 2024 Homecoming Tickets Have Been Sold

EAST KOTAWARINGIN - PT Dharma Lautan Utama (DLU) Sampit Branch, East Kotawaringin Regency, Central Kalimantan, noted that around 80 percent of ship tickets for the departure of the Lebaran 2024 homecoming flow, namely D-10 to D-2 Lebaran, have been sold. "This shows the high enthusiasm of the community for going home this year. Our ticket sales are open from March 1 yesterday, mostly ordering for departures from D-10 to D-2 Lebaran and are currently filled with around 80 percent," said PT DLU Manager Sampit Branch Hendrik Sugiharto as quoted from ANTARA, Sunday, March 17.

PT DLU Sampit Branch opened ticket sales from a long time ago to provide flexibility for passengers to choose the departure schedule.

Sales of this ticket are still open until D-2 or the last scheduled departure as long as tickets are still available. In total there are 11 ship departure schedules or calls provided by PT DLU Sampit Branch to accommodate travelers this year, starting from D-30 to D-2 Lebaran 2024.

However, what is most popular is the departure schedule approaching Lebaran because at that time the workers got a holiday or collective leave. Although he did not mention the exact number of tickets sold, Hendrik said about 80 percent of the ticket quota had been sold.

For this reason, he appealed to people who want to go home to order tickets early to avoid running out of tickets.

"We urge customers to try to get tickets first, because if it's near the day of departure it will be crowded and worried that they won't get tickets," he said.

Hendrik said that his party is also trying to socialize to prospective passengers to go home early and take advantage of the initial departure schedule until the middle of Ramadan in order to avoid a buildup of passengers approaching Eid.

In addition to being more relaxed and not having to jostle, passengers who go home early can get cheaper rates.

In an effort to unravel passengers of PT DLU Sampit Branch, the tariff is adjusted in stages at a basic rate of IDR 290,000 per person.

For ship departures in the H-30 to D-20 period, passengers are given a discount or a reduction in tariffs of around 15 percent of the basic tariff.

Then, ship departures in the H-19 to D-2 period of passengers will be subject to a gradual increase in tariffs ranging from 10 percent to 40 percent of the basic tariff.

This tariff adjustment has been coordinated with the head office management.

"We hope that this tariff adjustment can encourage customers to go home early, so that it can unravel the surge in passengers at the peak of the Lebaran homecoming flow," he said.
