The KPU is ready to bring the recapitulation of the results of the vote on the re-voting (PSU) of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to be recapitulated nationally in Jakarta.

"So, the information was completed there. Just bring it here (Jakarta), it will be reported later," said KPU member August Mellaz as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, March 13.

The recapitulation of vote count at the Kuala Lumpur PSU using the mobile ballot box (KSK) method and polling stations (TPS) has been completed.

The reason is, the KPU provides two days to recapitulate from Monday (11/3) to Tuesday (12/3).

"What is clear is that they have 11 to 12 March positions," he said.

Previously, Monday (11/3), the KPU targeted the recapitulation of the Kuala Lumpur re-voting (PSU), Malaysia, to be completed on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.

"Hopefully this one or two days will be finished. On the 13th, Kuala Lumpur will be completed," said KPU member Idham Kholik.

Based on KPU Regulation Number 3 of 2022, the recapitulation of the 2024 General Election is scheduled to take place from February 15 to March 20, 2024.

The KPU has set a permanent overseas voter list (DPTLN) for PSU in Kuala Lumpur reaching 62,217 people consisting of 42,372 voters at 22 TPSLN and 19,845 voters at 120 KSK.

This figure was obtained from the total voters who attended Kuala Lumpur through three previous voting methods, both those recorded on the permanent voter list (DPT), additional voter lists (DPTb), and special voter lists (DPK).

The total voters for the three methods recorded in the DPT, DPTb, and DPK reached 78 thousand. The 78 thousand numbers are databases for updating with three categories, namely validity of addresses, multi-plane analysis, and validity of population identification numbers (NIK) and passport numbers.

The KPU carried out the Kuala Lumpur PSU on Sunday (10/3). The implementation of the TPSLN method was carried out at the Kuala Lumpur WTC while the KSK was distributed in 120 locations in Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu, Selangor, the Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya Communion areas.
