Perverted Grandfather Raped 6 Children In Tebing Tinggi North Sumatra, Now Detained

An aging man with the initials MW alias A (65) in Tebing Tinggi City, North Sumatra was arrested by the police.

MEDAN - An aging man with the initials MW (65) in Tebing Tinggi City, North Sumatra was arrested by the police. He became a suspect in a case of sexual abuse against 6 minors.

MW was arrested by Unit IV Women and Children (PPA) of the Police Chief of Police Tebing Tinggi on Wednesday, February 17th. MW was reported by the families of the six victims to the Police.

"Before being arrested, the perpetrator had previously been secured by residents at his house. The perpetrator is suspected of raped 6 underage girls. The six families of the victims have made a complaint to the Tebing Tinggi Police Headquarters", said Tebing Tinggi Police Chief Head of Public Relations, Joshua Nainggolan, Monday, 1 March.

Joshua explained that the six victims, on average, were 12 years old and were neighbors of the perpetrators. One of them is the perpetrator's grandson.

However, the perpetrator admitted that he only raped 3 people by touching the victims' genitals.

"The perpetrator admitted that he only raped 3 people. According to the perpetrator, the victim often asked the perpetrator for pocket money. In the action the perpetrator raped the victims separately and not simultaneously at the perpetrator's house", he said.

The perpetrator was charged under Article 82 paragraph (1) of the Law on Child Protection.
