JAKARTA - Member of the General Election Commission (KPU) Idham Holik, revealed the cause of the loss of diagrams and charts for the 2024 presidential election and the 2024 Legislative Election in the real count of the vote recapitulation system (Sirekap).

Idham explained that currently the KPU will only display authentic proof of vote acquisition, namely the C1-Plano Model Form or a record of vote count results for the 2024 General Election.

"Now the KPU policy only displays authentic evidence of the votes acquired by election participants," said Idham in his statement, Tuesday, March 5.

The C1-Plano Model Form at each polling station (TPS) is a form read out by the District Election Committee (PPK) in calculating the votes acquired by election participants. Then, written in the Appendix of the Model D. Results.

Idham assessed that inaccurate data could lead to prejudice for the public. Therefore, the KPU changed the format in displaying the results of the recapitulation.

"When the results of the Sirekap technology reading are not or are not accurate and have not been curated by uploaders, polling groups (KPPS), and regency/city KPU Sirekap operators, will become polemics in public spaces that create prejudice," he said.

Since Tuesday at 20.50 WIB, the diagram for the votes acquired by the presidential election and the results of the legislative elections of the DPR, DPRD, and DPD which are usually displayed on the Sirekap page have disappeared. Even so, the C1-Plano Model Form can still be seen at polling stations in electoral areas, both in the presidential and legislative elections.
