Bar Brotherhood License Location Millen Cyrus Arrested For Drugs Has Not Been Revoked And Still Under Test

JAKARTA - Head of DKI Jakarta Satpol PP Arifin said that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has not decided on the sanction to revoke the Brotherhood bar business license in the Gunawarman area, South Jakarta due to a drug raid that netted Millen Cyrus celebrities.

Arifin said that currently the Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Disparekraf) is still reviewing the truth of drug use in the Bar Brotherhood from the Millen case.

"Currently, Disparekraf is investigating about drug offenses", said Arifin when contacted by VOI, Monday, March 1.

It is known, the rules regarding these sanctions are contained in the Regulation of the Governor of DKI Number 18 of 2018 concerning the Implementation of Tourism Business.

Article 38, it is mandated that every tourism entrepreneur is obliged to supervise and report in the event of a transaction and or use/consumption of narcotics and other psychotropic substances in his business environment.

Then, in Article 54 Paragraph (1) it is stated that every tourism company management has proven to have allowed the circulation, sale, and use of narcotics and/or other psychotropic substances at the location where the tourism business is under one management is subject to revocation of the Tourism Business Registration Certificate (TDUP) directly.

Arifin said that the investigation that was still being carried out was to find out where Millen Cyrus was using the benzo type of drug. If Millen consumes at the Bar Brotherhood, the bar can be sanctioned with permanent closure.

"If it is true that drug transaction activities occur there under the provisions there could be sanctioned being permanently closed as well as having their business license revoked", said Arifin.

"From this place, we checked the program for one person with the initials of MC and his friend who was positive for a benzo", said the Director of Drug Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya, Mukti Juharsa, after a health protocol raid at the Gunawarman Brotherhood Bar, Sunday, February 28.

The Gunawarman Brotherhood Bar where Millen Cyrus was secured is also under severe sanctions. This is because the manager has violated the health protocol rules by continuing to operate beyond the predetermined time.

Head of South Jakarta Satpol PP Ujang Hermawan said that the imposition of sanctions refers to Governor Regulation Number 3 of 2021.

In Governor Regulation Number 3 of 2021 Article 12 states that sanctions will be given in the form of written warnings, temporary suspension of activities, administrative fines, temporary suspension of permits, and/or revocation of licenses.
