JAKARTA - A man in pink was targeted by residents' tantrums because he was caught snatching a woman's cellphone on Jalan Komarudin, Ujung Krawang, Cakung District, East Jakarta.

The perpetrator was arrested by residents after the incident. The perpetrators were also the target of a number of residents who were furious at their actions.

The incident also provoked the attention of residents. The reason is, a number of residents from children, youth and parents continue to crowd the perpetrators.

The act of playing the judge itself was inevitable after dozens of other residents who were furious at the perpetrator's actions returned to vent their anger by ganging up on the perpetrators. The perpetrators also received a number of punches and kicks by residents at the scene.

According to one resident, Supriatna, the perpetrator was arrested by residents after being caught in a traffic jam and crashing into a car while trying to escape.

"If people say, he ran here from beside the toll road. When he was caught in a traffic jam here. So he hit the car, it fell there," said an eye witness to the incident to reporters, Sunday, March 3.

Supriatna said that previously the perpetrators had also been chased by the victim along with other residents. Many perpetrators caught the action, including the victim as well.

"It has been secured by residents, but he still admits that he is a thief. Finally, a female victim came," he said.

After the victim arrived, the perpetrator was finally beaten by an angry mob for his actions. Then the perpetrator was taken to the Cakung Police, East Jakarta.

"He is alone. The mode is to snatch the victim's cellphone," he said.
