2,025 Joint Personnel Deployed To Secure Ed Sheeran Concert At JIS, This Is A Traffic Flow Diversion Scheme

JAKARTA - Musician Ed Sheeran will hold a concert at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) tonight. In the security scheme, 2,025 joint personnel were deployed.

"The deployment of 2,025 joint personnel from Polda Metro Jaya, Polres North Jakarta, TNI, and Pemprov DKI," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters, Saturday, March 2.

Thousands of these joint personnel will be placed at mapped points. They will ensure there is no interference during the concert.

Regarding the diversion of traffic flow, Ade said it would be situational. Of course, by involving related institutions, in this case the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency or Transportation Agency.

"Traffic regulations are carried out situationally, in collaboration with stakeholders," said Ade.

The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency was originally scheduled to implement traffic engineering. One of them is in the form of a limited closure of three roads to prevent the accumulation of vehicles.

This limited closure scheme will be implemented from 12.00 WIB to 24.00 WIB.

The three roads that will be closed include the intersection of the Jalan Sunter Permai Raya railroad crossing to Jalan RE. Martadinata.

Then, the intersection of Jalan Sunter Permai Raya to Jalan Bisma Raya; and the intersection of Jalan Lake Sunter Barat to Jalan Lake Sunter Utara.

In this limited closure scheme, said Syafrin, there are several types of vehicles that are allowed to cross the three roads. This method is done to overcome the buildup or density of vehicle currents.

"Types of vehicles that are allowed to pass include committee transportation, public transportation, residents, and shuttle buses," said Head of DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo.

In addition, traffic diversion will also be implemented. In this scheme, vehicles from the north are directed through Jalan Warakas 21 and from the east they can go through the Off Ramp Tol to Jalan Sunter Permai.

Vehicles from the east can also be via Jalan RE. Martadinata to Jalan Sunter Permai Raya.

"From the east, you can also take the Ancol exit port toll road via Kemayoran-Benyamin Suaeb Street- Main Griya Street-West Sunter Lake Road," he said.

Meanwhile, vehicles from the west can take the Kemayoran Exit Port Toll Road - Benjamin Suaeb Street - Main Griya Street - West Sunter Lake Road.

For vehicles from the south there are several diversions of flow. First, you can pass Jalan Gunung Sahari-Jalan Lodan Raya-Jalan Benyamin Suaeb-Jalan Griya Utama-Jalan Lake Sunter Barat.

Second, through Jalan Benyamin Suaeb turn back towards Jalan Griya Utama-Jalan Danau Sunter Barat or can cross Jalan Danau Sunter Utara to Jalan Sunter Permai Raya.

"It could also be through Jalan HBR Motik-Jalan Danau Sunter Barat leading to JIs," said Syafrin.

In addition, the Transportation Agency has also prepared to divert the flow of vehicle traffic to outside Jakarta from JIS.

Vehicles towards Jalan Sunter Permai Raya-Jalan Bisma Raya or via Jalan Lake Sunter Utara.

Then, motorists can also cross Jalan Sunter Permai Raya-Jalan Lake Sunter Barat-Jalan HBR Motik or Jalan Lake Sunter Selatan.

"It could also lead east via Jalan RE. Martadinata or heading west via Jalan RE. Martadinata turned back to Jalan Lodan Raya entering the East Ancol Toll Gate," said Syafrin.

Finally, motorists can pass Jalan Danau Sunter Permai Raya-Jalan Danau Sunter Barat-Jalan Griya Utama-Jalan Benyamin Suaeb entering the Kemayoran Toll Gate.
