"In Kelapa Gading, based on BMKG data, the rainfall is 157 mm/day. There are five categories. If it's light, it's 0.5-20 mm, 20-50 moderate, 50-100 heavy, 100-150 very heavy, above 150 it's extreme. In Kelapa Gading it's very extreme," Isnawa told reporters, Wednesday, February 29. In fact, according to Isnawa, it has been raining since this afternoon in several areas. This also resulted in the process of receding inundation for longer. Isnawa said the majority of areas affected by extreme rain were in North Jakarta, as well as parts of East Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and West Jakarta. "In fact, what is a bit safe in South Jakarta. South Jakarta is not affected because we monitor the upstream area where there is no extreme rain," said Isnawa. Today, the worst point for flooding is in Rawa Terate Village with a water level of 1.2 meters. In addition to high rainfall, flooding in Rawa Terate also occurred due to overflowing rivers.
