The Office Of The Ministry Of PUPR At IKN Is Being Worked On, Entering The Land Cleaning Stage

JAKARTA - The construction of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) is underway. The completion target is gradual in August and December 2024.

"It is already in the stage of clearing and grubbing [PUPR Ministry Office], the contract was two months ago," said Head of the IKN Infrastructure Development Task Force (Kasatgas) of the Ministry of PUPR Danis Sumadilaga in Jakarta, Monday, February 26, which was confiscated by Antara.

The PUPR Ministry Office which was built at IKN consists of two wingers, namely wing 1 and wing 2, which means there are two contract packages in which the wing 2 contract package is IDR 1.3 trillion and the wing 1 contract package is IDR 640 billion.

For information, based on the IKN Main Plan in Law Number 3 of 2022 concerning the State Capital states that the implementation of IKN development in Phase 1, namely the IKN Development Plan for 2022-2024, is divided into three major work channels, namely urban development, infrastructure development, and economic development.

The city development work flow consists of activities related to city planning and government relocation. In 2022-2023, an initial stage of construction will be carried out in part of the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) phase 1A Sub-BWP I.

In Phase 1, housing for ASN, TNI, Polri and BIN will be built, both in the form of landed houses and apartment units, worship facilities, markets, and acmamine facilities will be provided to support construction and the initial stages of relocation.

In early 2023, early 2024, until 2025 and beyond, the construction of R&D facilities, world-class universities, life-long educational institutions, innovation centers, health facilities, and international hospitals will begin.

Relocation of residents will begin with the TNI, Polri, and BIN in 2023 (relocation of pioneers) and relocation of representations of executive, legislative, judicial, and ASN bodies will be carried out in early 2024. Phase 1 is reached when the transfer of ASN begins. dominated by construction and security defense workers, especially in the Capital City of the Archipelago (KIKN) area.
