The General Elections Commission (KPU) has decided to re-vote (PSU) at 686 polling stations spread across 38 provinces. This number is less than recommended by Bawaslu.
"Re-voting is spread across 38 provinces with a total of 686 polling stations," said KPU Commissioner Idham Holik at the KPU office, Central Jakarta, Friday, February 23.
Bawaslu had previously recommended the KPU to hold a re-voting at 780 polling stations. This means that there is a difference of 94 polling stations.
Responding to this, Idham also emphasized that the number of 686 polling stations that will be re-voted is still in process, in the sense that this number could increase.
"Regarding the 780 PSU recommendations from Bawaslu, then why did the KPU this afternoon only submit 686 polling stations, we are currently still consolidating data, so that the data we can convey is only 686 for re-voting," explained Idham.

It is confirmed that the KPU has ordered the ranks from the Provincial KPU to the City/Regency KPU to carry out a technical study on the recommendations from Bawaslu.
"If the recommendation is accurate and factual, then carry it out, but if the results of the study say otherwise, then convey it to Bawaslu and issue a recommendation letter," concluded Idham.
In addition to re-voting data at 686 polling stations, the central KPU also released data for 71 polling stations to be held for further voting (PSL) and 255 polling stations to be collected further.
