Real Count KPU Data Enters 59 Percent: PDIP Still Superior, 9 Parties In The Threshold Of Parliament

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) is firmly at the top based on updating the vote count data digitally (real count) for the 2024 Legislative Elections by the General Election Commission (KPU). Meanwhile, there are 9 parties that meet the parliamentary threshold.

Based on the 2024.kpu.go.id election site. Wednesday, February 21 at 13.00 WIB, incoming data has reached 491,531 polling stations (TPS) or 59.97% of the total 823,23,236 polling stations.

PDIP is still firmly at the top in the 2024 Legislative Real count with 11,333,976 votes or 16.97%. The party bearing the Bull symbol was affixed by the Golkar Party (Golkar) which was in second place with 10,081,072 votes or 15.1%.

Meanwhile, the party led by presidential candidate number 1 Prabowo Subianto, the Greater Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra), occupies the third position with 8,975,155 votes or 13.44%.

Based on preliminary data from the KPU's real count, nine political parties are predicted to qualify for parliament based on the 4% parliamentary threshold.

This is a minimum condition for vote acquisition so that political parties can participate in determining seats in the House of Representatives (DPR) and the Regional Representative Council (DPRD). Here's the full list:

1. Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP): 11,333,976 votes or 16.97%

2. Golkar Party: 10.081.072 votes or 15.11%.

3. Gerindra Party: 8,975,115 votes or 13.45%.

4. National Awakening Party (PKB): 7,906,948 votes or 11.84%.

5. Nasdem Party: 6,261,857 votes or 9.38%.

6. Prosperous Justice Party (PKS): 4,991,539 votes or 7.48%.

7. Democratic Party: 4,948,840 (7.41%)

8. National Mandate Party (PAN): 4,617,392 (6.92%)

9. United Development Party (PPP): 2,705,604 (4.05%)
