Four Foreigners Involved In Human Smuggling Network Secured By Soetta Immigration

JAKARTA - The Special Class I Immigration Office for Immigration Checkpoints (TPI) Soekarno-Hatta (Soetta) Tangerang, secured as many as four foreign nationals (WNA) who used fake passports. The four foreigners had the initials MHAH, FAIA, IH and MA. They are known to come from the countries of Iraq, Syria and Sudan as an international network of human smuggling. Kasi Inteldakim Immigration Soekarno Hatta Arfa Yudha said the four perpetrators had motives for other countries such as Germany and the Netherlands. "So the motive for the four perpetrators to go to a third country is Germany and the Netherlands. The reason is to find a better life," he said in Tangerang, Antara, Tuesday, February 20. The results of the initial examination showed that the perpetrators of the fake passport users had entered Indonesia for the first time. All the perpetrators, he said, were in a movement by a network where there were automatically allegations of human smuggling. "Until now, we are still developing related networks in Indonesia, because the name is an international network," he said. According to him, this attempt to use fake passports has become a strategy for syndicates who want to reach the third country, the pattern is to rotate Asian countries such as Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines first. So that they trick immigration like a traveler. "There is no specific reason, so indeed syndicates must expand their journey to obscure their intentions. Usually the ultimate goal is to European countries," he said.

The four foreigners were secured in a surveillance operation for foreigners in the Soekarno Hatta Airport area.
