Speaking On The Side Of Prabowo, Jokowi Rejects Comments On PDIP Ready To Be An Opposition

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo refused to comment on the PDI-P's political position which stated that it was ready to be brerada outside the government (opposition).

"Yes, just ask him questions in the PDI-P," said Jokowi, Monday, February 19.

This was conveyed by Jokowi when asked for his response to the statement of PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto who stated that his party was ready to be outside the government.

Joko Widodo did not respond further to Hasto's statement. He then answered another question asked by the media crew.

Previously, PDI-P Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto emphasized that the party bearing the white-nosed bull was ready to fight outside the government, through parliament to carry out check and balance duties.

According to him, being outside the government is a patriotic task and has been carried out by the PDI-P after the 2004 elections and the 2009 elections.

Hasto's statement was made Thursday, February 15, or one day after the 2024 General Election. Meanwhile, the PDI-P is the party that carries the Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md pair in the 2024 presidential election.
