JAKARTA - Presidential Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana stated that the quiet period of the 2024 election is an opportunity for voters to determine their choice based on the results of the assessment of the contestants during the campaign period. "In the quiet period of the election, let's give the voters (choosers) the opportunity to also be calm to make what they hear, see, and they feel during the campaign period, so that they can be a reference in determining their choice," said Ari Dwipayana, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, February 13., and the Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu), and the Election Organizer Honorary Council (DKPP) work professionally and independently. "The President also advised the Voting Organizing Group (KPPS) to work honestly, fairly, firmly and carefully in the 2024 elections," he said.

Regarding the allegations of election fraud, Ari said that all material submitted to the public must be tested with facts and reported to Bawaslu, so that it does not only become a narrative of opinion drivers. "Differences in opinion and political choices are normal in democracy. Celebrating differences and diversity is a force tied up by the spirit of Indonesian unity and brotherhood between the nation's children," he said.
