Zulkifli Hasan Concerning Dirty Vote: This Time How Can You Cheat

JAKARTA - Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan invites all parties to jointly maintain a calm period of the 2024 General Election on 11-13 February 2024 so that it can take place properly.

"I think we will take care of this quiet day so that our election will run well," said Zulkifli, who is also the minister of trade at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, February 12.

Zulkifli said this was to investigate the narrative of alleged election fraud which recently appeared in public spaces through social media and so on.

He said all pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates and political parties and legislative candidates had conveyed their vision and mission during the campaign stage according to the time determined by the General Elections Commission (KPU).

Zulhas also invited all parties not to spread issues that could make them restless.

"I think all Indonesian people already have choices and decisions? We'll just have to wait. Don't spread various issues, cheat, this is it, that's how it is, it makes people restless," said Zulkifli.

Regarding the documentary film "Dirty Vote" which narrates allegations of fraud in the 2024 General Election, Zulkifli admitted that he had not witnessed the film because he was busy managing the needs of party candidates regarding the witnesses needed on voting day, February 14, 2024.

Meanwhile, regarding the narrative of alleged fraud in the 2024 General Election, Zulkifli emphasized that in the current era of technology fraud is impossible.

"How can this shower be fraudulent? During this era, you can still cheat, how about it? Indeed, there is still a secret? I don't think anyone who wants (cheating) can't get it. Everything is open, even the most secret meeting is not secret. So if it's cheating, how do you do it?" said Zulkifli.
