RM Cafe Location Bripka CS Shoot 4 People Allegedly Operated By Outsourcing Officers

JAKARTA - Head of Jakarta Satpol PP Arifin suspects that there are indications of fraud by the management of RM Cafe, Cengkareng. This is because they operated outside the time limit set during the PPKM period but were not caught.

This violation was discovered after a shooting incident by a police officer. This shooting killed three people, one of which was a member of the Indonesian Army.

Arifin suspected that in its operation, RM Cafe closed its business according to the deadline, which was 21.00 WIB. However, it is suspected that RM Cafe re-opened its business two hours later, at 23.00 WIB.

"So by tricking it. At 9 pm closed, there was no activity, but at 11 then he reopened," said Arifin when contacted, Thursday, February 25.

Then, customers who enter the RM Cafe do not pass through the main door, but rather the side or back doors. So, from the outside the RM Cafe looks like it's closed.

In addition, parking the vehicle is directed not to park inside the building. RM Cafe security guards direct customers to park their vehicles a little away from the location where they operate.

"Those are methods that we have often found. They tried to violate them until midnight, even early in the morning for these methods to trick the authorities. So, from the outside, they can't be seen but inside there is activity," said Arifin.

Arifin admitted that his staff had to be more careful in supervising business places that were operating during the pandemic so that they could catch business places that violated the DKI Governor Regulation Number 3 of 2021.

"So, indeed this supervision is not just a simple supervision, but the supervision must be more detailed, careful, thorough because of these efforts," he explained.

Arifin said, RM Cafe violated DKI Governor Regulation No. 3/2021 because it operated above 21.00 WIB.

Because RM Cafe has violated the health protocol twice, it will be sanctioned for 1x24 hour closure until the maximum administrative fine according to the violation.

"Obviously there is a violation of operating hours. We know our operating hours are only limited to 21.00 WIB. Cafes or restaurants are indeed allowed to operate during the PPKM period, but there are operational hours limits," Arifin added.
