7 Employees Including COVID-19 Positive Judges, Central Jakarta District Court Delays Part Of Session

JAKARTA - The Central Jakarta District Court postponed part of the trial activities which had not yet been scheduled. This is because seven people consisting of employees and judges are positive for COVID-19.

"There are 1 judge, 2 substitute clerks and 1 bailiff who have been positively exposed to COVID-19," said Head of Public Relations at the Central Jakarta District Court Bambang Nurcahyono in his statement, Thursday, February 25.

Then three other people tested positive for COVID-19 after undergoing tests. "From the rapid mass antigen test results on all employees of the Central Jakarta District Court, the results were 3 positive people," he said.

In order to break the chain of spreading COVID-19, the Central Jakarta District Court has implemented a home work pattern for part of the employee. This work pattern was applied for two days.

So, with this working pattern, activities at the Central Jakarta District Court will return to normal on Monday, March 1.

"Services to the community and matters that have been scheduled will continue to run as they should," he said.

"Corruption and other trials that have been scheduled with an agenda, for example a verdict," he continued.

For information, the spread of COVID-19 at the Central Jakarta District Court has occurred three times. First in August 2020, then October 2020, and February 2021.
