JCI Wednesday Morning Raised 0.21 Percent To The Level Of 5,231.61

JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) opened higher on trading Wednesday, March 11. JCI opened higher by 0.21 percent or 10.78 points to the level of 5,231.61.

At the opening this morning, there were 174 stocks that rose, 73 stocks fell, and 123 stocks were stagnant. Trade transactions reached IDR547.42 billion from 459.40 million shares traded.

Binaartha Sekuritas analyst M. Nafan Aji Gusta Utama assessed that the JCI today will increase. "There is potential for further strengthening in the JCI movement so that it has the opportunity to go to the nearest resistance level," he said.

Based on technical analysis, the resistance area for today is in the range of 5,364 to 5,498, while the support area is between 5,133 and 5,022.

This morning, stocks that are among the top gainers, including PT Putra Rajawali Kencana Tbk (PURA), rose IDR 35 or 25.18 percent to IDR 174, shares of PT Diamond Citra Propertindo (Persero) Tbk (DADA) increased by IDR 32 or 12.03 percent to Rp. 298, and shares of PT Esta Multi Usaha Tbk (ESTA) increased by Rp. 18 or 7.09 percent to Rp. 272.

Among the top losers, shares of PT Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk (KAEF) fell IDR 25 or 3.01 percent to IDR 805, shares of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) rose IDR 25 or 2.07 percent to IDR 1. .180, and shares of PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) fell by IDR 15 or 1.82 percent to IDR 810.
