West Sumatra Regional Police Returns 19 Moge Units Of The Indonesian Military Soldiers

PADANG - The West Sumatra Regional Police returned 19 units of Harley Owner Group (HOG) Siliwangi Bandung Chapter Indonesia motorbikes that were detained. Moge was detained because of the beating of two soldiers of the Indonesian Army in the City of Bukittinggi.

West Sumatra Regional Police Head of Public Relations, Kombes Satake Bayu, said that the investigators at the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimsus) of the West Sumatra Regional Police had investigated the 24 moge who became evidence of the case.

He said 19 motorbikes were returned to the owners because they had complete documents.

This completeness was obtained after the Director of Special Criminal Investigation of the West Sumatra Regional Police and the Traffic Director of the West Sumatra Regional Police to Jakarta.

"We have coordinated with Polda Metro regarding the unit and 19 motorbikes are declared complete," said Kombes Bayu as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, February 24.

Meanwhile, five other big motorbikes are still at the West Sumatra Regional Police Headquarters because they are suspected of not having any documents.

"Furthermore, his party will coordinate with Customs and Excise at this related center. We will transfer the cases and evidence there," he said.

Previously, 24 big motorbikes from the Harley Owner Group (HOG) Siliwangi Bandung Chapter Indonesia group that were suspected of assaulting two TNI soldiers in Bukittinggi City were finally transferred to the West Sumatra Police Headquarters.

The motorbike was transferred from the Polres Bukittinggi to the West Sumatra Regional Police Headquarters on Thursday night.

He said the 24 motorcycles consist of 21 Harley Davidson brands and three from other brands.

"This motorbike is under investigation because of the documents and some are being deposited because the owner has returned to his area," he said.

He said that the alleged persecution was processed by the Bukittinggi Police and is currently still running, while the motorbike is indeed moved to the West Sumatra Police Headquarters.

Previously, the Polres of Bukittinggi, West Sumatra named five motorbike riders of the Siliwangi Bandung Chapter of the Bandung Indonesia moge as suspects in the persecution of two TNI soldiers on Friday (30/10).

Initially the police identified two perpetrators, namely BS (18) and MS (49). After the development, there were additional new suspects HS (48), JA (26) and TR (33).

"All of them are currently being held at the Bukittinggi Police Headquarters detention center," he said.

The incident was known to have occurred on Jalan Simpang Tarok, Bukittinggi City, West Sumatra (West Sumatra) on Friday at around 16:40 WIB, and was viral on social media.

A group of people who were part of the motorbike group tortured the victim, which later confirmed that the victim was a member of the TNI serving at Kodim 0304 / Agam.
