Surprised Anies Calls The Government Similar To The New Order, TKN: Never Opository, Dream Of The Kagak Party, Becomes The Kagak Council

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of TKN Prabowo-Gibran, Ahmad Muzani responded to the statement of Presidential Candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan who criticized today's government as a new order because he sided with one of the candidate pairs (Paslon).

Muzani was surprised that Anies concluded so. The reason is, the former governor of DKI Jakarta has never felt as an opposition, led a party or became a member of the council.

"Mr. Anies has never been in an opposition? The party's dream is not, so the council isn't either," said Muzani at the TKN Media Center, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Wednesday, January 31.

The Secretary General of the Gerindra Party then assessed that for 10 years his party had been outside the government, the current condition was much better than the New Order.

"The Gerindra Party has been in opposition for 10 years, I have also been in the DPR for 10 years, so we can record the atmosphere. I think the current atmosphere is far below the new order," said Muzani.

Previously, presidential candidate number 1, Anies Baswedan, alluded to the New Order government which sided with one of the candidates. This was said by Anies when asked about the alleged covert campaign of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in the 2024 presidential election. He hopes that Jokowi as president will protect all parties.

"The leadership of the state protects all. The era of the New Order used to be the government in favor of one group, sided with one party, sided with one candidate, that was the New Order era," said Anies at the Al Hamidy Banyuanyar Islamic Boarding School, Pamekasan, East Java, Wednesday, January 31.
