KPK Confiscates Foreign Money And Cars While Searching In Sidoarjo

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) searched a number of locations in Sidoarjo, East Java on Tuesday, January 30. Confirmation will be carried out later on related parties, said Ali. "This initial evidence is to be confiscated and analyzed first and later confirmed to the parties who will soon be summoned as witnesses," he said. Previously reported, the anti-corruption commission has named Siska Wati, the Head of the General Division of the Sidoarjo BPBD, as a suspect for allegedly cutting the ASN BPPD Sidoarjo incentive to Rp. 2.7 billion in 2023. Meanwhile, during the silent operation, Rp. 69 million was found.

The money was allegedly used for the needs of the Sidoarjo Regent and the Head of the Sidoarjo BPPD. As a result of his actions, Siska is now being held at the KPK Detention Center for the first 20 days.
