Cangkriman Alleged Money Laundering At Home Land Acquisition With DP 0 Rupiah

JAKARTA - The Directorate of Corruption Crimes at Bareskrim Polri is investigating allegations of corruption and money laundering over the land purchase budget by DKI BUMD, PD Sarana Jaya. One of them is the 0 rupiah down payment (DP) house land program, which is the policy of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan.

Head of the National Police's Public Information Bureau, Brigadier General Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono, said the police were carrying out this investigation, but the parties in the case and the land in question had not been disclosed.

"Yes, it's true (being investigated). We haven't given any further information, we're asking for clarification," said Argo when confirmed, Tuesday, March 10.

PD Sarana Jaya Keren PR, Margaret Vicer, said that her party had received a summons from the police regarding the alleged money laundering crime (TPPU) for purchasing assets of PD Sarana Jaya during 2018-2020.

"We do have a summons from Bareskrim Polri. There have been several Sarana Jaya employees who have been questioned in the last few weeks," said Keren, who did not specify the person, and the area that was suspected of having problems.

"Currently, we can only say that much. We can only say that we are cooperative because now it is still in the process at this time. We will hand it over to the police," he said.

A member of Commission B, who is in charge of the economy, from the PDIP faction Gilbert Simanjuntak will ask for an explanation from Sarana Jaya to find out about this matter.

"We will arrange a meeting schedule and ask for clarification from the Managing Director of Sarana Jaya Yoory Pinontoan. We will ask for clarification from him because this problem is very fatal," Gilbert said when contacted by VOI.

Gilbert didn't know the schedule for the meeting yet. This is because conditions in Commission B are currently divided, between factions supporting DKI Governor Anies Baswedan and those who are contra.

"There is no meeting point between members of Commission B from the Anies-supporting faction and other members of Commission B. In Commission B there is a split of opinion. If it is still difficult to get a meeting, we will ask other commission B leaders to be more proactive in holding meetings," concluded Gilbert.

The DP 0 rupiah housing program is Anies' campaign promise to provide vertical housing purchase facilities for DKI residents with low income (MBR) status.

There is already one area of DP 0 rupiah houses that has been completed, namely in Nuansa Pondok Kelapa or Kelapa Village. Subsequently, in December 2019, Anies laid the groundwork for Nuansa Cilangkap on Jalan Raya Cillangkap, East Jakarta, which is the second location for the placement of the 0 rupiah DP home akwasan.
