JAKARTA - Weather in most areas in Indonesia is predicted to have the potential to be cloudy.

Quoting Antara, based on weather forecast information submitted by the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), sunny cloudy weather is predicted in a number of areas, namely Banda Aceh, Bengkulu, Surabaya, Lampung, and Denpasar.

Then other areas whose weather is predicted to be cloudy are Gorontalo, Samarinda, Mataram, Mamuju, Ambon, and Sofifi.

BMKG predicts cloudy weather in a number of areas, namely in Yogyakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Pontianak, Padang, Palembang, Medan, Kendari, Manado, Jayapura, and Manokwari.

Thick clouds are expected to fill the Serang area.

Light rain is predicted to occur in Jakarta, Palangka Raya, Pangkalpinang, Tanjung Pinang, Pekanbaru, Banjarmasin, and Makassar.

The foggy weather is forecast in Jambi and Tanjung Selor.

Meanwhile, rain accompanied by lightning is predicted to occur in Kupang today.
