Anies Baswedan Supports Musi River Tourism Development

PALEMBANG - Presidential Candidate Anies Rasyid Baswedan supports the development of the Musi Palembang River, South Sumatra to make economic changes and improve people's welfare in watersheds.

Anies made this statement after listening to complaints from motorcyclist Ketek Sungai Musi Hermanto during a grand campaign in the courtyard of the Palembang Kuto Besak Fort tourist attraction (BKB), Thursday, January 25.

Hermanto, one of the motorcyclists, when invited by Presidential Candidate Anies for a dialogue on the campaign stage, complained that his life has been getting more difficult lately because of the lack of people using water transportation services for travel and activities around the Musi River.

In addition to this problem, one of Maimunah's housewives also submitted her complaint to Presidential Candidate Anies regarding the high price of basic necessities (sembako).

Prices of basic necessities such as rice and cooking oil are currently moving up, while the income of their families who rely on their livelihoods as daily laborers tends to decline.

"The condition of the high price of basic necessities is very burdensome for our family's economy, we want changes and need new leaders of this country to be free from difficulties," said the Palembang resident.

Anies responded to complaints submitted by residents on the stage of the grand campaign in Palembang stating that the same problem is often complained by people in every area in the country that is visited.

In addition, other problems also often arise such as expensive education, expensive health, difficult job opportunities and others.

Responding to the community's complaint, Anies invited the mass of supporters who gathered at the Palembang BKB to fight to win the number one presidential candidate pair promoted by the Nasdem Party, PKB, PKS and the Ummat Party.

"Our goal is to busy attending the grand campaign of Anies-Muhaimin presidential candidates, only one is to make Indonesia's changes just and prosperous for all," said Anies.

According to him, to make changes, it is necessary to have the authority, therefore it is hoped that the mass of supporters invite their families, relatives, friends, neighbors to come to the polling stations (TPS) on February 14, 2024, to determine who the choice of authority will be given to.

"If people want better changes, create a just and prosperous Indonesia, the choice of authority is given to the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 1 Anies - Muhaimin and the four supporting parties," said Anies.
