Head Of SDA Service Discharged After Jakarta Floods, DKI Deputy Governor: Something Usual

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan removed Juaini Yusuf from the post of Head of the Water Resources (SDA) Service. Juaini is currently Deputy Mayor of North Jakarta.

Juaini was replaced by Yusmada Faisal who previously served as Assistant to the Regional Secretary for Development and Environment for DKI.

In fact, currently Jakarta is haunted by flood problems. The SDA Office is the regional work unit (SKPD) that covers the flood control program.

Responding to this, the Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, considers that job rotation is a common thing in government ranks.

"Substitution, transfer, rotation, whatever the name is in a structural position in DKI Jakarta is something common. Today, Anies inaugurated a number of high-ranking pratama officials within the DKI Provincial Government. From this inauguration, Anies remodeled 12 DKI officials and one Head of Regional Office V of the Jakarta State Civil Service Agency (BKN).

In the inauguration, Anies said that currently the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is facing very dynamic working conditions, especially during the pandemic and the rainy season. Especially for the new SDA Head, Anies asked Yusmada to work optimally.
