Twice, Tan's Businessman Has Been Questioned By The AGO In The Asabri Case

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) has examined six witnesses in a case of alleged financial management and investment funds by PT Asabri. One of them is the Chairman of KSO Duta Regency Karunia Metropolitan Kuningan Properti, Tan Kian.

"The Attorney General's Directorate of Investigation for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) has examined the witnesses associated with the alleged corruption case of PT Asabri," said Head of the Attorney General's Legal Information Center, Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak in his statement, Tuesday, February 23.

With this examination, Tan Kian had already been checked twice. Previously, he was examined on February 10, 2021.

Meanwhile, for the other five witnesses, among others, HPR (Commissioner of PT Wimofa International Investment and Director of PT Vivaces Prabu Investama), AAH (Director of PT Sugih Energy), AI (Director of Misae Asset Securities), AA (Director of MNC Securities), and RMOYN ( Director of Mandiri Sekuritas).

"The witness examination was carried out in order to look for legal facts and gather evidence about the criminal act of corruption that occurred at PT Asabri," he said.

For your information, Tan Kian was also caught in the corruption case of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya. Because, he had a partnership with Benny Tjokro.

The two of them made a deal in 2015 for an apartment building under the name South Hill.

During the construction process, the sale was carried out by pre-sale, in which the proceeds from the sale, Benny had received a payment of IDR 400 billion and Tan Kian received IDR 1 trillion.

There was a share of the proceeds from the sale of apartments that had not been sold. It was agreed that the Defendant Benny would receive 70 percent and Tan Kian received 30 percent.
