Maruarar Says Goodbye From PDIP, TKN Believes Will Support Prabowo-Gibran

JAKARTA - TKN Commander Fanta Arief Rosyid Hasan was surprised by the news of Maruarar Sirait's departure from PDIP. On the other hand, Arief believes that Ara's resignation from the bull party to support candidate pair number 2, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

"We are surprised, but at the same time we have hope that Mr. Prabowo Mas Gibran will get additional energy. Because he (Maruhar, ed) said he would follow Pak Jokowi's political stance," said Arief at the Fanta HQ Headquarters, Menteng, Jakarta, Monday, January 15, evening.

According to Arief, although Jokowi did not verbally support Prabowo-Gibran, the head of state wanted a leader who could continue and perfect his government. Of the three candidate pairs, Hanura number 2 approached the criteria.

"Well, I think that's a signal. Moreover, the last signal for dinner is Mr. Prabowo and Mr. Jokowi," said the former BSI commissioner.

"So that we want to be grateful, God willing, this Ara can become a new power for Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran, hopefully," he continued.

Nevertheless, Arief admitted that there had been no communication between Maruarar and TKN. What is certain, he said, is that as a politician who has been involved for a long time, Maruarar certainly has a sharp instincts in determining his political stance.

"If the communication is not yet, I just know this information or news. But if earlier, the signals were not far away, PDIP was close, Fanta was also here, all you have to do is turn," said Arief.

It is known that Politician Maruarar Sirait decided to say goodbye to PDIP. Maruarar admitted that he wanted to follow President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in future political choices. Maruarar apologized and asked for his blessing for his choice.

"After I prayed and discussed with the closest people, my closest friends, I decided to say goodbye to the PDI-P today," said Maruarar after meeting with high-ranking PDIP DPP officials at the PDIP DPP office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Monday, January 15.
