Reported To Bawaslu, Anies: I Use Jokowi's Data, If Considered A Problem, See The Referral

JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate Anies Baswedan said that his party handed over everything to the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) regarding reports to him after alluding to Prabowo Subianto's land ownership in the presidential candidate debate.

"It was all discussed in the debate. What should have been discussed in the debate was also responded to," said Anies in Samarinda, East Kalimantan as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, January 11.

Anies handed over all these problems to Bawaslu because it was the only one who could judge whether the report was feasible to continue or not.

According to him, as citizens, anyone can report anyone because it is the right of every citizen.

"As citizens, of course, the right to report, but Bawaslu also has the right to determine which ones should be followed up and which ones do not need to be followed up at all. We leave it to Bawaslu," he said.

Anies admitted that the data disclosed during the debate came from President Joko Widodo during the presidential candidate debate in the 2019 presidential election.

For this reason, when the data submitted is wrong, said Anies, it is not only him who should be questioned, but the main source.

"I did use the data submitted by Mr. President Jokowi. The data has a reference, so if it is considered problematic, yes, we will see the referrals," he said.
