AMIN Brings Up Jokowi About Anies 'Attack' The 340 Thousand Hectare Land Belonging To Prabowo On The Debate Stage

JAKARTA - Spokesperson for the Anies-Muhaimin National Winning Team (Timnas AMIN) Billy David Neututumilena said President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) also mentioned Prabowo Subianto regarding land ownership of 340,000 hectares of land in the 2019 presidential election debate.

"So actually it's just the data that is repeated, and I don't think it's personal," said Billy as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, January 8.

Anies is considered to have personally attacked Prabowo by raising the issue of ownership of the 340,000 hectares of land. He added that Anies had also warned that this had also been conveyed by Jokowi.

Billy conveyed this in response to President Jokowi's statement that the third debate for the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Elections (Pilpres) was non-substantive and personal attack.

He believes that every technical debate or regulatory provisions that are regulated during the debate are also in accordance with the provisions. In addition, he also assessed that there are no limits governing the prohibition of statements that are personal in the debate

"We have comparison data, for example, 340,000 (hectares) compared to houses owned by soldiers, and are still in the corridor of that substance," he said.

Billy also revealed that Prabowo's land is located in two areas, namely 220,000 hectares in East Kalimantan and 120,000 hectares in Central Acah.

During the Sunday (7/1) night debate, Anies said that half of the total number of TNI soldiers in Indonesia did not own a home, but on the other hand the Minister of Defense had more than 340,000 hectares of land.

Based on that statement, Prabowo later denied it. Prabowo called the data wrong and asked Anies not to quote the wrong data. Prabowo's rebuttal was made when Anies corrected his statement at the beginning.
