JAKARTA - The weather in most of Jakarta is predicted to rain today, Tuesday, January 2. The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts rain will flush the capital city from morning to night.

Previously in the morning, the weather in West Jakarta (Jakbar), South Jakarta (Jaksel), and East Jakarta (Jaktim) would be raining. Only Central Jakarta (Jakpus) and the Thousand Islands are cloudy. Rain is still pouring down South Jakarta and East Jakarta during the day.

Continuing at night, all areas of Jakarta will experience rain with different intensity. Especially in East Jakarta, it is predicted that rain will be accompanied by lightning.

"Be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning or lightning and winds that can occur in most South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and West Jakarta in the afternoon, evening and early morning," the BMKG wrote in its warning.

The temperature in Jakarta ranges from 25-30 degrees Celsius with a humidity of 75-100 percent.
