BENGKULU - The Bengkulu City Government (Pemkot) requires state civil servants (ASN) in their neighborhood to return to work on January 2, 2024.

"We will record who is present and who is licensed. However, the most important thing is that ASN Bengkulu City Government must enter on January 2, 2024," said Assistant I of the Regional Secretary of Bengkulu City Eko Agusrianto in Bengkulu, Sunday, December 31, confiscated by Antara.

He reminded ASN within the Bengkulu City Government to be disciplined and obey work rules. State civil servants who are proven to have violated work regulations will be subject to sanctions.

"There must be sanctions and tieres, but we hope that no ASN violates," said Eko.

He hopes that ASN within the Bengkulu City Government can improve performance in 2024.

Head of the Bengkulu City Communications and Information Office, Gitagama Raniputera, added that the Bengkulu City Government has banned ASN from using official cars for holidays out of town during the year-end holidays. ASNs who violate these provisions will be subject to sanctions.

"Official vehicles are intended to support the implementation of the regional government implementation process. So, outside of that, the use of official vehicles is prohibited," said Gitgama.
