PSI DKI Asks Residents To Report If They Find APK Disrupts Public Order

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) asked residents to report if they found the 2024 election campaign props (APK) from the party disturbing public order or endangering pedestrians.

"For DKI residents, please contact us at the PSI Jakarta WhatsApp Center if they find a similar incident," said PSI Jakarta DPW Chairman Elva Qolvina, quoting Antara, Sunday.

Elva appealed to DKI residents who want to report the APK whose placement needs to be improved or interfere with the safety of road users can contact the PSI Jakarta WhatsApp Call Center at 085727531260.

He also expressed his gratitude to the West Jakarta Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) for responding quickly to the APK complaint.

His party was helped to follow up on complaints from residents affected by accidents due to billboards.

"We are grateful because West Jakarta Bawaslu is very cooperative and moves quickly when there are complaints from the APK of political parties that have been damaged," he said.

To anticipate the damage to the APK, Elva ordered all party candidates and administrators to check the PSI APK installed in Jakarta.

"Currently it often rains and the wind is quite strong, so if there are campaign props that are not perfectly installed, they must be repaired immediately so that incidents like this do not happen again," he said.

West Jakarta PSI DPD chairman Norman Lianto visited the residence of the motorcyclist who was injured because he was hit by a billboard.

"You suffered minor injuries, Alhamdulillah, none of your body parts were seriously injured. We will continue to assist you for the recovery process," said Norman.

PSI bears the treatment of Agus Riyanto, the driver who was hit by a billboard on Jalan Auto Ringroad Number 18 RT 004/001 Kembangan Utara, Kembangan, West Jakarta, on Tuesday (26/12).

The DKI Jakarta General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) has asked the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) to bring order to the 2024 Election APK whose installation violates the provisions.
