JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) issued a weather forecast for Friday, December 29, 2023. Forecasters of Syndhy Indah Pratiwi revealed that rain is predicted to fall in 32 major cities in Indonesia. Of the 34 major cities in the country, only two cities are predicted to have cloudy weather in Kupang, and sunny cloudy weather in Ambon City, said Syndhy Indah in the BMKG Info broadcast, Friday, December 29. Starting from Sumatra Island, 10 of its large cities are predicted to rain lightly, moderately, heavy, and rain accompanied by lightning. Light rain in Banda Lampung City, and moderate rain in Banda Aceh and Palembang. Heavy rain is predicted to occur in Padang City and Medan. Meanwhile, rain accompanied by lightning will occur in Pekanbaru City, Tanjungpinang, Pangkal Pinang, Bengkulu, and Jambi, explained Syndhy. On the island of Java, rain will flush six of its major cities. Light rain is predicted to occur in the cities of Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya. Rain is moderate in Serang City and Semarang. "Was heavy rain in Bandung City," said Syndhy. On the islands of Bali and Nusa Tenggara, light rain in Denpasar City, while Mataram City is predicted to rain accompanied by lightning/lightning. On Kalimantan Island, five large cities will be rained. Light rain is predicted to hit Palangkaraya City, Samarinda, and Banjarmasin.
