People who want to leave the house should first check their electrical equipment, starting from stop contact, cable, to other electronic equipment, make sure everything is safe, "explained Lasir.

PLN also shares electricity tips to people who want to enjoy the Naru holiday this year. Here are the tips suggested to be followed before leaving the house.

First, check the electrical connection at home, if there is electronic equipment that is not used, it is better to pull it out of the socket.

Second, for postpaid customers, pay for electricity at the beginning of the month or before the 20th. As for prepaid customers, fill in enough electricity tokens and prepare backups to keep the electricity on, especially for lighting and the required electronic equipment.

Third, check the electrical installation in the house before traveling, especially if there is a frequent electrical short circuit. The public can check the electrical installation with the help of an official installation registered or use the ListriQu menu at PLN Mobile which is managed by a subsidiary of PLN, to help the community check electrical installations.

Fourth, if the power at home is not sufficient, immediately add official power to PLN. Currently, there is an additional promo for Gelegar's power at the End of 2023. Customers can increase their power to 5,500 VA by only paying IDR 271,023, through the PLN Mobile application.

Fifth, inform the nearest neighbors, the local Neighborhood Association (RT) or Citizens Association (RW) so that they can help monitor empty houses when left on vacation.
