Nusron Wahid: Prabowo-Gibran Paslon The Poorest Gimic

JAKARTA - Secretary of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Nusron Wahid, said the pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates number 2 were the poorest in the game compared to the other two pairs of candidates.

"Actually, Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran are one of the three poorest candidates in the game," said Nusron during an interview with ANTARA at the Media Center of TKN Prabowo-Gibran, South Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 20.

According to Nusron, candidate pairs number 1 and 3, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD display more games. However, he said, the gimmicks of the two pairs of candidates were not accepted by the public.

"Look, Mas Anies has a lot of games. There are playing with gloves, playing bicycle games, maybe just one game that hasn't been done yet: racing with sacks that haven't been done yet," said Nusron.

"Then if Mas Ganjar, there are a lot of games. The game is using his wife's gymnastics, using a marathon, then riding a bicycle, and so on. Everything is done with the game," he continued.

Nusron assessed that Prabowo only had one gimmick, namely Jogetgemoy and was immediately accepted by the public because the gimic narrative emerged from the community, not the Prabowo team.

"So, if you say that Pak Prabowo is poor, the idea is only mostly gimic, upside down. Our Wong (people, ed.) is actually poor, really. One (gimic), but accepted; and we also have a lot of ideas," he added.

Nusron explained, Prabowo and Gibran offered many ideas that had an impact on various sectors of people's lives. For example, the lunch program and free milk for all Indonesian children.

"The impact of the derivative of the free lunch will have a lot of extraordinary domino effects. First, the procurement of rice in every village, every school, procurement of meat, procurement of eggs, procurement of vegetables, and that allows for extraordinary economic effects," said Nusron.

Therefore, Nusron dismissed the assumption that Prabowo-Gibran was a candidate couple who only displayed games in public.

"Now, if Mr. Prabowo-Gibran is said to be just a gimmick without ideas, what is the idea of the other pair of candidates to advance Indonesia? Ideas don't exist, the game is not strong. In the end, what is there? Just criticizing the opponent," he said.
