AMIN National Team Claims Questions For Anies In Debate Of Less Sharp Candidates

JAKARTA - The National Team for Winning Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (Timnas AMIN) stated that the questions in the inaugural debate of presidential candidates (candidates) were less sharp so that all of Anies' potentials and answers did not appear.

"We regret the question (during the debate) is not sharp enough for Mr. Anies," said AMIN National Team Spokesperson, Angga Putra Fidrian in Jakarta, Wednesday.

When the question given to the presidential candidate number 1 is sharper, according to him, it is certain that the potential he has will come out 100 percent and the debate will be even more interesting.

Although not yet too sharp, said Angga, overall Anies' appearance during his inaugural debate with the organizers of the General Elections Commission (KPU) was better than the other two candidates.

"According to Mr. Anies, during the debate, it was better than other candidates. However, because Mr. Anies was very skilled when he was asked a sharp question, it would lead to even better potential," he said.

During the debate, Anies was also considered to have conveyed his vision and mission and ideas appropriately and can be understood by the wider community.

According to him, at the inaugural debate, Anies also became a byword among the public, as can be seen from social media which was filled with Anies' ideas and statements.

"The idea was conveyed well, the public could get what was said. We also received news that in the villages we also watched together and they were enthusiastic, and knew Pak Anies better," he said.

The first debate of the 2024 presidential election, Tuesday, December 12, was an inter-presidential debate that raised the theme of government, law, human rights (HAM), eradicating corruption, strengthening democracy, improving public services, and harmony of citizens.

The Indonesian KPU has determined three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates as participants in the 2024 presidential election, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar with serial number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. serial number 3.

The KPU has also set a campaign period from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, then the voting schedule will be on February 14, 2024.
